This is my remake of the Swedish progressive metal band Opeth's debut album "Orchid." I wanted to accentuate the bands knack for seamless combination of classical themed compositions and hardcore black metal, through the juxtaposition of orchids and a warrior; "The balance between serenity and aggression."

nice! i haven't listened to opeth in years...i only have the two albums what are they called?...damnation and something else...anyways it was that dual album thingy they did.

Thanks! Yeah, I've only gotten into their music recently... Orchid was their first album, released in the early 90's. I thought it was a good opportunity to demonstrate their use of distorted and clean tones. Glad you like it =]
